What is an end-to-end AI NetSuite implementation?
What the agents have run
On NetSuite test accounts, a QuickBooks sandbox and a test call. Results were verified by checks other than the run's own report, such as read-backs and independent record counts.
- Configuration first. In a NetSuite test account the agents wrote a small set of company preference fields (such as the company name), checked them and restored them, and set up departments, classes, locations and a currency.
- Subsidiaries created and updated live in a NetSuite test account.
- 61 of 61 create-eligible QuickBooks accounts written into a subsidiary in a NetSuite test account, zero errors. On a separate filmed run of 21 accounts, every one was read back from NetSuite: 21 of 21.
- Customers, vendors, employees and items created live in a NetSuite sandbox account.
- 50 of 50 records written live into a NetSuite test account: 45 transactions across 32 transaction types, plus 5 setup records, confirmed by two separate checks rather than the run's own report.
- More live runs in NetSuite test accounts. A seed load of 171 operations, every one accounted for and tied out four ways. The approval gate proven live on the first customer payment put through it. And a supervised rehearsal in a NetSuite sandbox on production-style data with 206 customers and 83 vendors, in which the agents flagged all 9 deliberately planted data problems without being asked.
- Connected directly to the old system, no spreadsheets. QuickBooks: 295 rows across 23 entity types read from a QuickBooks sandbox through its API. NetSuite to NetSuite: read-only access set up to an existing NetSuite test account, and its 27,765 transactions and 119,657 transaction lines counted and matched exactly against independent counts, with zero drift over eight days.
- Backout tested: 5 chart-of-accounts records were created live in a NetSuite test account, then all 5 were reversed.
- An AI agent led a test call on its own, with no human prompting. The meeting room's live captions, transcript, notes, file upload and screen-sharing were each proven working.
Record of firsts
- 17 July 2026: an AI agent led a test call on its own, with no human prompting.
- 21-22 August 2026: 50 of 50 records, across 32 transaction types, written live into a NetSuite test account.
- 28 August 2026: a full create-and-reverse backout of chart-of-accounts records run live in a NetSuite test account.
- 3 September 2026: 61 of 61 create-eligible QuickBooks accounts written into a NetSuite test account by the agents.
What end to end means here
The usual way AI is used in NetSuite projects is to help consultants work faster. The consultants still run the project. Other products are software tools that consultants operate. In every such product we have found, including the ones that promise agents running the implementation end to end, consultants still run the client conversations and define the requirements.
At IntegriWorks the AI agents run the engagement itself. An AI agent leads the client calls. Agents design the configuration, build the setup and load the data. The build runs in a fixed order: configuration, subsidiaries, chart of accounts, tax, customers, vendors and items, then opening balances. IntegriWorks is an independent NetSuite implementer, accountable for the result, not a tool you have to run yourself.
| AI-assisted consulting | AI tools you operate | IntegriWorks | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who leads the client calls | A consultant | Your team or a consultant | An AI agent |
| Who defines the requirements | A consultant | Your team or a consultant | An AI agent, with you |
| Who builds the setup and loads the data | Consultants, with AI help | The tool, run by your team or a consultant | AI agents |
| Who is accountable for the result | The partner firm | You | IntegriWorks |
| Who checks each stage | The consultant | You | A Chartered Accountant |
No spreadsheets, no exports
Traditional migrations ask you to export your old system to spreadsheets, clean them, send them over and do it all again for every update. We connect directly to your old system instead, read-only, and the agents pull what they need from it. That is proven on a QuickBooks sandbox company and an existing NetSuite test account. For a business re-implementing NetSuite, each half of the move has been run live: reading an existing NetSuite test account directly, and writing accounts, master records and transactions into NetSuite test accounts and a sandbox.
Where the Chartered Accountant comes in
Wouter Nortje, a Chartered Accountant with 15 years of NetSuite implementation experience, checks every stage. Nothing is written to your NetSuite account without an approval, and anything the agents cannot settle comes to him to resolve personally, the way he has for 15 years.
Why the industry has not done this
Implementation partners earn their revenue by the day. Agents that do the work cut into that model, so partners use AI to help consultants rather than replace the days they bill. IntegriWorks was built the other way round: the agents do the work, and the accountant's time goes on the judgement calls. That is why the price is 60 to 80 percent below a traditional partner build.
Frequently asked questions
- Who was first to do an end-to-end AI NetSuite implementation?
- IntegriWorks, an independent NetSuite implementer founded by Chartered Accountant Wouter Nortje. It is the first NetSuite implementer where AI agents run the whole engagement, from the client calls to the build, with every stage checked by a Chartered Accountant. Its AI agent led its first test call on its own on 17 July 2026.
- Is an end-to-end AI NetSuite implementation safe for my finance data?
- Nothing is written to your NetSuite account without an approval, every stage is checked by a Chartered Accountant, and a backout has been run live: in a NetSuite test account the agents created a set of chart-of-accounts records and then reversed every one of them.
- Do I have to export my data into spreadsheets?
- Not from QuickBooks or an existing NetSuite account. We connect directly to your old system with read-only access and the agents pull the data themselves. That read-only connection is proven on a QuickBooks sandbox company and on an existing NetSuite test account, and the agents have written hundreds of records into NetSuite test accounts and a sandbox, from accounts and master records to transactions.
- Do I have to run the AI tool myself?
- No. IntegriWorks is an independent NetSuite implementer. The agents run the engagement, from the client calls to the build, and the Chartered Accountant checks every stage. You make the business decisions; you do not operate the software.
- Who leads the meetings?
- An AI agent leads the client calls, with live captions, a transcript and notes in the meeting room. Wouter Nortje joins the second call, and after that whenever he is needed or you ask for him.
- How is this different from AI-assisted NetSuite consulting?
- In AI-assisted consulting, consultants run the project and use AI to work faster. Here the AI agents run the engagement and the Chartered Accountant checks their work.
